		<description>I don&#039;t see the criminal matter barring any sort of civil suit for damages, but the family would have to be completely bonkers to do so. In addition to the deceased wrongdoing in the case, this poor woman does not exactly have deep pockets.  I&#039;d give it a .005% chance of happening!</description>

		<description>Now that she has been found &#039;guilty&#039; but, essentially, mentally incompetent, will this allow the deceased official&#039;s family to sue for damages? This could be an interesting one to watch. One gets the distinct impression that Ms. Deng, who killed a would-be rapist, has not seen the end of her legal travails. The public crisis has been averted, but I see this moving to Phase II, which will be played out in a quieter fashion.</description>
