I just realized one of the full slogans for Obama is actually "Yes We Can", but that is 1st personal plural and Obama's change to 2nd person plural to instead say "Yes Yu Can!" shows a detachment as well.... so what does the detachment mean? Everyone know the govt makes it rain, so what message is the govt sending to Obama by making it rain? Are they saying they are "Rain Makers", in the financial sense? Are they showing their power over the heavens? Or are they just trying to get his shoes wet? Or, on the other hand, is Obama showing that he is a "big umbrella" guy under whose umbrella everyone can fit? I think everyone, including you Stan, are failing to see all the deliberate symbolism that this umbrella and walk in Beijing is supposed to send to us.
