Moving Day Blues
It seemed like an easy move a couple of weeks ago. We went from the west side of the San Huan at Shuang Jing Qiao to the east side. Literally across the street and within a ten minute walk (over either the pedestrian skyway or the underground subway route).
So why did it take a few days of trips across the street, whereby my wife and I are now exhausted, this despite the services of one of those 100 RMB minivan moving guys? Could it be old age creeping up on me, or maybe not so much creeping but walking straight up to me and smacking me in the face?
Suffice it to say that my attention to the news today was sorely lacking, a factor not only of my running around the entire day, but also my lack of an internet connection until a few hours ago (direct line only — wireless is still out).
No blogging today, no replies to comment, not anything except some aspirin for my back and some quality time with my friend Yanjing.
Should be back up and running tomorrow at some point.

Any great photos from the move perhaps? ::: So how many trips was it, in the end? :::
I’m not a reality show . . .
Anyway, my lack of blogging over the past few days is sufficient evidence of how ‘fun’ all this was.
