Let the Games Begin
I’m not going to discuss the weather, I’m not going to talk about politics, Bush’s statements today, etc.
I’ve seen this whole Olympics thing through from the beginning. When I first heard that Beijing was trying to get the Games, I thought it was a ludicrous idea, but as things moved forward, I got excited anyway. I remember asking my wife what the chances were that we would still be in China when 2008 finally arrived. We both thought it was doubtful — it seemed so long in the future.
So . . . suck on it, bitches. Journalists, shut the @)%* up about the air, stop this pathetic crap, and let’s get this show started already.
[In case this post confuses you, this is me when I'm not being sarcastic. Doesn't happen very often, I know.]

This post does confuse me big time. Most posts on expats’ blogs have been sarcastic when it comes to China. I am not even used to reading a post by a westerner that is not sarcastic.
P. S. You seem much lovelier when you are not sarcastic.
Stan – lovely? HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA
