Yes, it’s that time of year again, when folks from all over greater China (not gonna touch that) come together to
enjoy a seven-day holiday commemorate the founding of the People’s Republic on October 1, 1949. Time sure flies when you’re having fun.
As per my usual holiday schedule, posts will be sporadic. This is partially due to The Lazy and also because there is rarely any news of import during one of China’s Golden Week celebrations. It’s a good opportunity for everyone to catch their breath before this fall’s exciting political goings-on. Beijing has already dolled itself up for the upcoming Party Congress, and with the additional cops and other security, we’re already locked up tighter than [insert slightly off-color metaphor here].
