		<description>There are some industries in China allowing foreign investment only in the form of JVs, such as JV securities companies and JV funds management companies.  

It is understandable that foreign investors who are not familar with China still want to benefit from their local partners&#039; (actual or perceived) knowledges, channels, and connections. 

Another motivation for JV is equity incentive - the foreign investor structures its Chinese partner as the vehicle for the Chinese employees to hold shares in the China operating vehicle.</description>
