China’s Foreign Film Quotas Actually Too Generous

A 14-year-old boy in China’s Sichuan Province has been drinking gasoline to become a ‘valiant fighter’ like his hero Optimus Prime in the movie ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’.

That’s the problem with these transformer things. Is it a car or a person? Android, robot? Is it biological, and if so, what exactly is it doing with all that gasoline?

It’s normal for a 14-year-old kid to ask those kinds of questions, right? Perhaps the kid isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer (even if he was, drinking all that gas probably burned out a large quantity of brain cells), but even so, I blame the movie and Hollywood.

Hollywood movies keep cramming these “alternative lifestyles” down our throats. You gotta admit it’s confusing out there. Brokeback Mountain, Tootsie, Underworld, X-Men . . . hard to tell what’s “normal” anymore.

Now they tell us that the man/machine barrier is just another personal choice? I say no more. This kind of thing is just getting too dangerous.

This kid won’t be the last if the liberals have their way. Next thing you know, California will pass a new law creating special rights for man/machine hybrids.

Won’t someone put the children first for once?

  1. Maybe you ought to live under a rock somewhere, get a life!
Parents in China are becoming increasingly irresponsible, they blame all their kids’ problems on everyone but themselves. It’s YOUR responsiblity to look after your kid, may it be drinking gasoline or gobbling down all that garbage fed to them by CCTV. BTW those movies are not about ‘alternative lifestyle’, they’re just STORIES!!! Get it?

  2. I think Ben has been living under a rock – or this is the first post of yours that he has ever read. Anybody who has spent more than 15 minutes reading your posts got the joke.

Then again perhaps Ben is a robotic nanny who is fed up with serving his human overlords. If so, he should switch to unleaded – Wow indeed.
