I’ve been out of commission for a bit (from a blogging standpoint), but first thing’s first. Below is some information I received this morning at work (DLA Piper) regarding a couple of charitable organizations we work with, and the ways we/you can donate to earthquake relief. Online Donation to China Children Teenager Fund (CCTF)

CCTF http://www.cctf.org.cn/English/index.htm China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF) was created in 1981 as one of the first charitable foundations in China. Over the past 26 years, CCTF has been working for the education and welfare of Chinese children, especially those in rural and ethnic minority areas. DLA Piper has worked with CCTF for four years and helped in fund raising projects in the past.  It is a trusted charity (audited by Deloitte) with long term experience of implementing projects to help children in remote regions in China.  They have the local expertise and internal infrastructure (via the Womens’ Foundation) to react quickly to this emergency.  We spoke to the head of their international relief coordinator, Ben Xu, this morning and he has sent us the following number for donations.
